CHADWICK RESERVE

Public BBQ

There's something wonderfully unassuming about Chadwick Reserve that grows on you. Midweek visits reveal its true character - a tranquil pocket where parents teach wobbly cyclists in the carpark whilst spectators gather for local footy matches. The recently renovated playground keeps little ones entertained, and dog owners appreciate the generous off-leash area. Though weekend sports crowds can make parking a tactical exercise, the well-maintained grounds and decent facilities make it a reliable family destination. The coffee's not bad either, which in suburban Victoria counts for something.
